They say time flies when your busy and having fun and I say its true. Time lately has been so busy it slips right by but I try to have fun and it has. Dakota and I had a lot of fun in November and even got to play in the snow before he went back to Denver. I have missed him a lot this month as we get closer to Christmas but overall life is good. Thats what I like so much about the end of the year. We spend all of November on a holiday of thankfulness pondering on how much we truelly do have to be thankful for. Then December rolls in and its a holiday focused on giving back. The better we get at both being thankful and giving the happier we are. So while I dont have my buddy with me right now its been fun and going to be fun with all the family and activities, and when its all over I get to start a new year. So I want to say thanks for the fun to all my family and friends I have seen so far and I look forward to some more fun, some of which already planned. I cant wait to see one of my brothers who has decided to pay a visit from the south. All my siblings from the south are welcome to come pay us family out here in the west a visit. Who knows I might pay the south a visit some time soon this next year.
Well I didnt get to that balloon ride yet so now there is a new year for that, still a big goal. I did get to do some water color painting and Dakota liked it so we are going to have some fun with that. I still want to do a really big painting so who knows I might let Dakota help me color a space here and there. So many things to look forward to in life. Its my hope for all of us that this upcoming new year brings us lots of blessings and we stay thankful for them.
Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year from Dakota and Pete

Wow so much going on and so much to do and here I start blogging. I love the internet though and all the creative ways to play on it. So we shall see how creative I can get over time on here and I will try to update this fairly often. Lots of endeavours to get to though and goals and wishes to reach. With all the changes life has brought me recently it has been a juggling act for sure. So I love this quote one of my Aunts posted recently "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." Being grateful really does bring peace and order into your life. And with that peace and order I hope to accomplish lots here soon. Like I said lots of goals and wishes here to accomplish. The biggest getting settled here in Utah. I never saw myself living here especially growing up on the other side of the country but here I am. I know its going to be a lot of hard work but I am up for it and grateful to have so many around me to help. Two fun goals/wishes and inspiration for the blog I hope to accomplish here soon are painting and hot air ballooning. What a mix but I love art and have enjoyed painting off and on, so with all the ideas running in my head we shall see if I can get some on canvas. The hot air ballooning well I am an adventurist and went skydiving before I turned 25 which was a goal of mine after highschool. After turning 30 this year I thought the hot air balloon might be a great relaxing adventure. We shall see, less than 3 months to reach that goal. My list of course is full of other things and can go on and on.
I am truely gratefull though that thru all these challenges and changes that life will bring that I have my buddy Dakota. He is the best buddy I could hope for. So I look forward to occassionly playing on here and throwing out thoughts and updates on Dakota and me.
